Ch. 40 : Passing Celebrations
*Queen Amara* Time. My greatest enemy aside from the bastard Duke that no doubt was planning his next move against me. Time was flowing past me as though it were a race, pushing through spring in a flash and pushing through a myriad of announcements and celebrations. The first of which was a letter informing us of Rosanna’s newest addition to the Du Pleasant family, a baby girl that they named Leylia. Thea’s first birthday celebration soon arrived and was similar to that of Reya’s in that only myself, Morina, Drako, Ivy and our kids were gathered around to celebrate. Then Ivy’s birthday came around, followed by my nephew Pallas and a letter from my dear friend, Queen Laurinette, announcing the birth of Samuel’s daughter Anina a few days after that.
