Six months after the battle, life at Crescent Moon had found a new rhythm.
Luna was now ten months old with the development of a seven-year-old. Her accelerated growth had finally started to slow, much to Dr. Moira's relief. At this rate, she'd reach normal developmental speed by the time she was chronologically two years old.
"Which means I'll get to actually be a kid for a while," Luna said when I explained it to her. "That's good. I'm tired of growing up so fast."
She is now sitting in the school building with twelve other students. The program had expanded significantly after the battle. Young daughters from across North America requested training, their families are no longer afraid to reveal their children's gifts.
