I woke in the medical wing six hours later.
Adrian sat beside my bed, looking exhausted. The mate bond told me he was physically fine but emotionally strained.
"Luna?" I asked immediately.
"Safe. In the bunker with Katherine. She's sleeping now. The power expenditure exhausted her." He took my hand. "Sera, she broke the enhanced soldiers. All of them. Not just the ones near the bunker, but every enhanced soldier on the battlefield. Simultaneously."
I tried to sit up, but my body protested. "How many?"
