I've never been the kind of man to take satisfaction from killing an other, but when I broke Marcus's neck, I felt like a hero, then I realized what I had done, I had proven to witnesses that I was fit to be an Alpha to a pack, even my wolf had felt it. Tonia, had felt it too and so had the others, as we cleaned up the mess Marcus felt Liam had talked to me and wanted to be my second, Eric then told me that he had already replaced me with John, his father wasn't happy with his son being a second but that gave Liam the chance to come with me, that would mean Amelia would come with us too. I felt happy, but I also felt Tonia's tiredness, now with her memory back, and seeing all she saw, she was overwhelmed with sadness and anger.
