"She'll be okay." I told the others who were now standing over around both me and Tonia.
"I didn't mean to catch her so off guard." said Liam.
"It wasn't your fault, someone distracted her." I looked over at the real culprit, who was now walking toward us with the other person behind him.
"Uncle Victor?" asked Liam getting to his feet, as Victor came to kneel next to Tonia.
"He has no right to touch our mate!" yelled my wolf in my head, but I held him back. He was right though Victor had no right to touch Tonia not after betraying her the way he did.
"Victor?"
He just looked down at the girl he had raised as his own, had betrayed and almost destroyed. He was saddened but it wasn't enough to fix what he had done, and I had no idea if there was anything he could ever
