Baby-having progressed a little faster than Landon had been led to believe, and yet it seemed horribly slow. Up in labor and delivery, Karen walked the hallway for the better part of two hours, stopping to cling to Trey and sometimes Landon when the contractions hit. She was down to every couple of minutes when the nurses suggested the bed would be better.
