Miles and Blake stepped from the car, looking at the big building surrounded by a low wooden fence in front of them. It was a huge, old-fashioned house with open green lawn, neatly trimmed grass, and lots of flowering plants in bloom. The sight was serene and beautiful, perfect.
The man they were about to see, Dr. Jeff Richards, was the director of this place, the San Antonio Valley Psychiatric Institute. Miles had called him to let him know they were coming.
