Epilogue Thank you, Devin signed. “What are you thanking me for? You’re the one who saved me from Sebastian,” Miles said and smiled. It was several weeks after Sebastian’s attack and the fire that burned down most of Devin’s apartment. SAFD managed to prevent the fire from destroying the other floors, but Devin didn’t have any intention of ever going back there. It brought back bad memories, especially since Sebastian died there. It gave Devin nightmares for a long time afterwards, when he realized that it was he who had killed him and not the fire. He finally rented an apartment with Miles, who’d been homeless since he left his girlfriend. Devin caught Miles waving at him. He lifted an eyebrow in a silent question. Thank you, Miles signed. Devin smiled. Miles was not doing too badly
