I was standing in front of the mirror and staring at myself with those fake glasses. The door flew open and Ares walked in. He approached me and stood beside me. "You're a good actress, you know that?" "I'm good at everything." I replied sarcastically but wasn't exactly lying though. "We have to become his close friends." "It's not gonna be that hard from what I've observed in Thierry." Ares replied. "He's friends with Iris, the Bitch." I sighed, "If we want to befriend Thierry, we have to tolerate that Iris." "I know." "Can't we just kill her?" I asked, looking at Ares who shook his head, "You're gonna make this school become like Riverdale High." "Are Jason and Diana—" I was cut off by Ares, "No. They are fine. They're just in another school." Just then, the door flew open making both Ares and I snap our heads in that direction to see Emma standing there with her eyes wide open. She let out a gasp for I don't know what reason. I narrowed my eyes at her. What if she heard mine and Ares's conversation? If so, opening the door would be a dumb move cause' she wasn't going to get out of here alive. "Are you guys having an affair?" Emma's question brought me back from my thoughts. So, she didn't hear. Good. "No," I shook my head, "he just thought that this was the boys' restroom." "Yeah, she was just arguing with me because she got scared when she saw me here." Ares added making me internally roll my eyes. "Oh Okay. Sorry—I assumed things." Emma apologized. "It's fine. I'll go to the boys' restroom now." Ares waved it off and left instantly after shooting me a quick look. After a two more periods, it was finally lunch time. I was walking towards the canteen when someone stopped me. I turned to see it was Thierry. Just the guy I was looking for. "Hey come with us. We have lunch together, remember?" He asked to which I nodded before following to the table where Ares, Iris, Emma and Ryan were sitting. "Hey Diana." Everybody except Iris greeted me, not that I cared. I sat down next to Ares, on his right while Iris was on his left. "So, Diana. Tell us a little about yourself." Ryan spoke up making everyone look at me expectantly. "I'm eighteen, from America." I lied smoothly. I did look like I was eighteen even though I wasn't. "What do your parents do?" Iris asked, with a smirk. My dad leads the Russian Mafia while my mom is one of the most famous fashion designers in Paris and I am the CEO of one of the biggest companies that exist— I am also an assassin and I'll gladly kill you after taking the pleasure to t*****e the f**k out of you. "My dad is a plumber and my mom's a chef." I replied calmly. "Plumber for a dad and chef for a mom, no wonder you look like that." Iris said with a disgusted fake smile which I ignored which was the safest thing to do. "What about you, Jasy?" Iris trailed her finger down Ares's tattooed arm, "What do your parents do?" "Both my parents are businessman— and woman." Ares replied which made Iris smile, "Mine too." "Iris's dad owns the Smoak Enterprises. It is not that successful but she loves to brag about it." Ryan replied which made Iris scoff. "Shut up! You're talking as if you own the Ivanov's Corporation or—the Salvatore Industries." Iris said and I couldn't stop the small smirk that adorned my lips. I glanced at Ares and saw him looking at me with an expression that mirrored mine. "Hey!" Ryan exclaimed, "I'm a fan of the CEO of IC. She's hot, beautiful and smart. Damn..." "She's twenty four." Iris said and rolled her eyes, "You're eighteen." "So what?" Ryan asked, "Age doesn't matter when you're in love." "You can't love someone who you never met." Ares said in an annoyed tone. Why the hell was he annoyed? "I'll meet her soon." Ryan said and smirked. "What makes you think that?" I asked out of curiosity. If only he knew. "Call it an instinct." Ryan replied with a shrug. "So out of all the schools that exist, you decided to come here...why?" Iris asked, looking at me as she changed the topic. "I could ask you the same thing." I replied coldly, "Anyway—why I'm here is none of your god damn concern." "Wow the nerd snapped!" Iris mocked making me glare at her in response. She really was testing my patience. And I wasn't really a patient person. I glanced at Ares who mouthed, ‘don't blow our cover’ and I rolled my eyes at him. I wasn't going to screw this up for us. For once, I was actually going to ignore the b***h and pretend like I didn't know a hundred ways to kill her bitchy self.
