I spun out of the room, embarrassed, with just a single thought in my head. The guy from last night. The ruggedness in his stare and how he just didn’t fit into the family image.
He must be the triplet’s brother—definitely the eldest. My heart quaked in my chest for no reason at all, and it only worsened when I remembered how he’d looked at me. And I hadn’t heard him speak at all.
Why was I even curious about him?
I heard footsteps behind me, jolting me out of my reverie. It was Knox. My stomach clenched.
“Omega,” he said, the word rolling off his tongue like a velvet caress, “You just can’t help but breed trouble, can you?”
