KAI I was just coming down the stairs when I spotted Arya and Dala in the backyard, hanging baby laundry. It almost looked like cottagecore fantasy. I didn't know if the dryer didn't have enough class to dry the baby clothes but only Arya would know that. I paused for a while, the little voice in my head urging me to walk, that someone might see. See me gawking at my “stepmother.” Dala was half-pouting, holding up a bib as if it might bite her while Arya looked the complete opposite, chatting away with a smile so wide, it was almost contagious.
