"Nandini....." He shouted and ran out of his room to see his wife lying on the ground with blood all scattered. His life stopped. He didn't move for a minute.
"Manik..Nandini" His family was back from the venue.
"Nandini" He ran downstairs and saw his life line lying in a pool of blood. He took her head in his lap and started stroking her cheeks.
"Nandini..What happened? Wake up please! Nandini..." He started crying seeing the blood.
"Manik..Don't worry..I am just getting her out of our lives" Manik's anger rose to heights. He stood up and slapped her hard. And then captured her from her hand and threw her out of the house and then came back and rushed to the hospital with his lifeline.
His family accompanied him.
"Doctor..Look at my wife..She's not opening her eyes" Manik shouted,
