Loving me

A Ride of revelations......

As we set out to get to my flat I asked Risandh what he was trying to ask me during lunch. He fidgeted a bit for a bit then took a deep breath and said "Dhana I like you a lot and I would like to get to know you better so will go on a date with me this Saturday" he completed in a rush.

I sat there stunned for what felt like hours but only for a few minutes then I responded "Risandh I think I heard you wrong" to which he replies" no, I asked you to go out on a date with me ". I swallowed hard and said" I need a little time to decide" he replied "OK". Then my flat arrived, I told him yo wait a couple of minutes for me in the car and hurried to get what I needed for the overnight stay if needed for work. Then I got into the car with Risandh, we set off to the farmhouse.

As we enter into the farmhouse I see large pine trees on either side of the way till the entrance. And in fact it's a mansion not a farmhouse. I commented drily to him that what's a mansion is like if it's a farmhouse to which he laughs. We enter inside the "farmhouse", first thing we see is all his friends aka teammates are In a deep discussion as the snacks are scattered around them.

Anna is the first one who sees us and waves down for us to join them. We go and join them they get us updated on the thought process they were working on before us and we catchup with them after the brief. Then we all started to work together in the risandh's computer and we all took time to break and explain our own thoughts to others.

So it was almost one O' clock in the morning so we all decided to sleep over in the mansion. Risandh showed me to my room for the night and said good night after asking me about his proposal to which I replied that "we will go on a date after this project is over" to which his eyes litup and he kissede on the cheek and thanked me then he left me stunned in the entrance of the room........

I entered the room still a little stunned then i saw myself in the mirror and laughed to myself. My eyes looked really bright and my smile is really genuine. For the first time in a long time I am happy I thought to myself and slept with a silly smile on my face.
