Miles stood hidden in the shadows ,watching the chaos unfold inside of Liv's home his sharp eyes followed every detail- the way harper slapped liv the way he threw he in the stove,the sickening greed as he stared at the money.
His grip tightened on his phone.
"Boss "he said in a low argent tone.
"What is it?" J.W's was cold sharp miles glanced back through the window Harper was laughing,his fingers running through the stacks of bills,oblivious to his crying wife and trembling son.Liv lay unconscious on the floor.
"It's bad ,the father took the money,beat them all and knocked the girl out cold."
A long silence ,then J.W finally spoke ,his voice dangerously calm.
Mile's lips curled into a smirk "And the father?"
"Make sure he regrets being born."
"Yes ,sir!"
Minutes later the front door of the tiny house burst open.
Harper barely had time to react before miles men stormed inside.The moment he saw there faces - cold ,ruthless,dangerous his drunken stupor wavered .He clutched the bag of money on his chest.
" Who the hell-.."
A fist slammed into his face.
The force sent him crushing to the floor blood sputtering from his nose.He let out a drunken houl scrambling up, but another struck his ribs ,then his stomach.The bad slipped from his hands cash spilling across the dirty floor.
" P-Please-" he choked trying to crawl away.
A steal-toed boot crushed into his side.
His screams filled the house as the men beat him sense less.Milan and his mom hardeled together watching in horror,but non of the men touched them.Miles crouched near Livs unconscious body taking her pulse because they needed her alive.
'She is alive ,"he confirmed.Then to his men, "take them."
He lifted Livs limp form carefully as another escorted Milan and his mother out,there eyes filled with fear.Outside to black SUVs waited miles climbed into the front seat.Livs family were in the other vehicle.The only sound in the house was Harper's ragged breathing as he lay in a pool of blood in the house.
Then they were gone.
