Nadia POV The door at the back of the suite clicked open, and a heavy, familiar presence stepped inside. The low chatter in the room died down instantly. I didn't have to look up to know who it was. Grant Merritt moved through the suite like he owned the air in it. He didn't look at the ice. He looked right at me. "Marcus," Grant said, his voice flat and even. "Leave us for a moment." Marcus stood up without a word, gave me a small nod, and walked toward the food table. Grant took the seat next to me. He smelled of expensive wool and cold air.
