INTERESTING TIME

CHAPTER SIX:

It was 6 am in the morning and my alarm rang I woke up, It seemed to be a beautiful morning, The birds were singing and the weather was chilly, I remembered it was a work free day I felt good and started thinking of what to do so I don't make my day boring and I thought of going to the garden, that sounds good to me and all of me accepts this idea because i didnt have any doubt or worries in me I decided to go back to bed, I think I need some more rest before starting my day, so I grab my pillow to myself and rested after setting my alarm for 12pm.

When it was 12 pm my alarm rang and I woke up it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I walked to the window and saw the birds singing and building their nests I gently walked to the kitchen because I was hungry I made for myself some spaghetti and meatballs it was really delicious, I was done preparing it at 1:20 pm and I ate, rushing to the laundry room and put some clothes into the washing machine and did a quick laundry.

When I was done I thought of getting some more rest before going to the garden my phone rand I looked it was Stephanie calling I was curious; why is she calling?... when I tried picking up the call she hung up " I thought she made a mistake" after few minutes she called again this time I picked up the call Hey Stephanie how are you? I am good Dalton I just thought of the success of our project presentation and I think we should celebrate it together, what do you think Dalton? wow!!! that will be amazing so tell me what is the plan? Dalton I think we should maybe go for lunch or something, if you don't mind.

I smiled and said probably, it's a good idea I was thinking we should just go to the garden and spend some time we can actually order some food if that's ok for you!... she was cool with that and said ok, let me know when you are ready, I said to her I think I'll be ready in 30 minutes so you should just get ready I'll give you call, I quickly hang up the call and was excited I never expected this, should I say it's a miracle, maybe some force somewhere wants us to be together or we are destined to be together I walked to the fridge and drank a glass of water to calm my nerves so I can concentrate, I can't believe am having a date with Stephanie i sat down for a few minutes thinking and planning what to do when we finally out together it really feels good to know I'll be more closer to Stephanie again today.

I packed up my clothes, I was supposed to do some ironing but that can wait for now, I looked at the time it was 31 minutes pass already I pick up my phone and called Stephanie she quickly pick up my call and said am heading to your block already, "What!!!" OMG... that was a shock I hung up the phone and quickly pick up my dress and put them on and put on some nice perfume I needed to smell good for sure it's gonna be a beautiful date, I heard someone knocking calmly of course it was Stephanie I walked to the door and open it, I saw Stephanie standing in front of my door looking so stunning, adorable and she equally smells nice, I quickly glanced at her, she was putting on a nice shot and a white polo "Come in Stephanie" you looking so gorgeous today she smiled and said thank you so much and said well you are looking handsome, when she said that to me I felt like I was blushing I shut the door behind her and asked her to have a sit while I go pick up my phone.

When I came out I met Stephanie walking around my living room looking at my picture frames I stood for a while glancing at her beautiful and sexy body with a nice and adorable shape, I walked closer to her and cleared my throat she quickly turned back and said; are this your parents?... yes I replied looking into her eyes she smiled and said I must say you got a nice family here, you lucky to have them at this point she really sounds a little broken I touch her hands and said it's ok Stephanie, the taxi is waiting she smiled and walked with me to the door when I open the door trying to let her walk pass the door I noticed she was staring at me from behind, she walked to the car while I locked the door and join her.

We got to the garden it was a beautiful site There were a lot of birds singing I just love the fact that they were just few people in the garden Stephanie and I took a spot and we ordered something for ourselves she was looking refreshed and happy looking at the birds I have not seen her this happy before I think she likes this place, after few minutes our order came and we started eating; this time I got more of her attention, I looked at her and said you look so beautiful Stephanie she smiled and said thank you she looked at me and said; you seems to be a nice guy, now tell me more about your self, well am Dalton Scott I am from Dallas Texas am single am the HR of the company you and I are working, at this point she smiled, I quickly asked her to tell me about yourself, she looked at me and said i am Stephanie Stars i am from Philadelphia an orphan am single that's all, after she introduced her self she went on eating.

Well Stephanie I think life hasn't been fair to you, I smile looking at her, well you don't look happy, you don't have a man either, your too beautiful to be single, she stopped eating and called me gently Dalton my last relationship was a mess I don't think I'll want to talk about it right now, I took a deep breath and said ok take your time she then said to me; why are you single?... am sure you're a good guy, alot of women will want to be with you, I was calm and felt it's cool to tell her the truth I stopped eating quickly drank water and said ok fine I'll tell you about my last relationship she was calm and gave me a serious attention, well Stephanie I met this lady in the park where I was chilling out and fortunately things worked out for us we were happy together for two years not until she started answering strange calls and hanging out without me when i asked who she's going out with or talking to, she will always asked me if i dont trust her and said its no one important, i kept ignoring her new attitude for few months until one day I took the bull by the horn, I began to investigate just to know what was truly going on.

On a Wednesday morning I told her I was heading to work while I was off work that day, I drove around the neighborhood and stayed a few minutes, I drove back home and decided to pack far from the house I walked to my block quickly and I heard her communicating with someone she's supposed to be at home alone who the hell was she talking to?... I went through the back door and opened it, I quickly walked through it to the bedroom, at this point Stephanie was anxious to know who the person in the room was. I looked at Stephanie and said can you guess who i found there?... she looked at me with a pity audience and shook her head Dalton I really can't guess anything right now, "it was her ex" she invited her ex to my house when I left to work Stephanie, I was down because I felt disappointed it hurts a lot Stephanie, Stephanie came close to me and hugged me so tight, she started crying with me and told me everything is gonna be fine she hugged me for as long as I can remember that really help me to calm my nerves at that moment.
