Caspian’s Point of View      At the palace, I said hello to Bennett as we passed him, eager to get Jasmine to our house and into actual clothes. I needed to wash him off of her. I needed to take her to the sea and renew our vows, perform the sacred ceremony that bound us together.      Jasmine hardly spoke, just leaned into me as I got into the tub with her. I thought back to the first night after we’d found her, how I washed her in the tub, how she needed me to erase him from her. I wondered if that was how she felt now.      “My love,” I kissed her cheek softly, arms around her.      “Yes, dear?” She didn’t look up at me, and her voice was quiet, held none of the enthusiasm I loved.      “After we’re done, let’s go renew our vows.
