Valentino was avoiding him. Nathan thought, frowning, as he walked through the vacuous hallway, with his crisp, hurried footsteps filling the air. He cast a glance at his watch and winced. 9:27 AM. It had been well over a week since Valentino took on a calm demeanor. No rage. No violence. Just grunts, furrowed brows and gritted teeth. They'd gone to sleep side-by-side without issues.
