Interogation

"Listen, I-I a-am obviously way in over m-my head here." Daniel stutters nervously. "Cut the act." Andre brashly says, leaning down to look into Daniel's eyes. "I know an act when I f*****g see one." He states, turning to look at me; he nods. He was taking the bad cop routine, which left me pretending to be the more reasonable one. I didn't want this part, but the roles were already in suit. "I'm sure you are, Daniel. I"m sure you weren't unaware of just who's home you intruded on. Did you even check my background?" I ask, knowing damn well how arrogant I sounded. "No," Daniel admits looking down at his taped hands. "Foolish. I've seen this man kill without blinking an eye. Seen him run into gunfire. I watched him continue in a war zone after breaking his leg, without as much as a wince grace his face. You are lucky to be alive." Andre states coldly, arms folded at his chest; his biceps were the size of some men's heads. Daniel swallows nervously, turning to look at me. "Now, let's not scare the man brother, I am only wanting what is owed," I laugh without smiling. "I don't owe you shit." Daniel spits out his face, completely changing to that of no fear, so it had been an act. "Andre, why don't you get us some chairs? It appears this is going to be a long night," I say, taking a step up towards Daniel. Pulling back the hand holding my gun, I smash the butt of it across Daniel's face. He spits blood out of his mouth and glares up at me. "You f****d up leaving the garage unlocked. For someone so revered, you sure are messy." He growls.  Anger flys from the center of my chest and settles in my hands; raring back, I hit him with the Glock again. "You'll speak when you're told to speak." I snarl. Andre reenters with two more chairs; setting them down, I grab one and turn it to sit in it backward. "Now, I know Tori's parents hired you. I don't need you to tell me that." I state, gun dangling in my hand as I spoke. "What I do want to know is where were you planning on taking her?" I ask, leaning my head back and glaring at Daniel down the bridge of my nose. Daniel moves his tongue around the inside of his mouth and leans back in the chair. "I could easily break out of this lousy tape you have me restrained with." He states arrogantly. "Yes, you could, but you're not dumb enough to try and fight your way past my friend here or me. I alone almost killed you right there in my kitchen—all while in the nude with no weapons. You're a weak fighter. You know you are. So that tells me you were meant to be nothing more than eyes, and you weren't lying when you said you were way over your head." I speak on my analysis, "I may have been messy in leaving my garage unlocked, but you were reckless breaking into the home of Veteran Marine. " I click my tongue and shake my head. "As I said, foolish," Andre says, finally taking a seat in the chair he'd brought in for himself. You could see this information filter into Daniel's mind, his eyes darting around the garage.  "Wait, so you weren't bullshitting about killing people?" He asks anxiously. Andre and I both throw back our heads in laughter. "What the f**k you think this is? A James Bond movie?!" Andre flies out of his chair, his fist connecting with Daniel's jaw. "ENOUGH! TELL US WHAT YOU KNOW!" He hollers loud enough that his voice rattles within my own chest. "Okay, okay! You were right. I was only meant to be eyes!" Daniel chokes out. "They hired me to keep an eye on her after they had her move into her own place. They didn't tell me why, though. To me, they seemed like they wanted to keep up on her safety. When I told them about you, they didn't seem bothered. But then her mother messaged me privately about wanting to know more. I told her I didn't know much, that you'd given me your card. I told her you were a talent search and coach." Daniel says, his words flying out so quickly. "Slow down. Did you say her mother contacted you privately?" I ask, finding this tidbit important. "Yeah. She said she didn't feel Tori should be in a relationship. Said that Tori was crazy and needed help. That she wanted her to be taken to a hospital. She sounded legitimately concerned." He explains. "She isn't crazy." I hiss, trying to remain focused on the task at hand; I shake off the triggering word, "Yeah, no, Tori never seemed crazy to me. I told her that and that I was sorry she felt the way she did. I told her that I would continue keeping an eye on Tori for her as we'd agreed. But then she offered me a ridiculous amount of money to come here and abduct her. She said she was going to have Tori admitted to a ward for her safety. When on about Tori skipping her therapist and being spotted at a rave on drugs?" Daniel explains in reply. " Okay, so someone saw her at the rave. But who would have known about drugs?" Andre asks, looking over at me. Standing I pace, "Someone more than likely assumed she was, but that isn't what matters." I state, still pacing. I pause and look over at Daniel, "How much?" I ask. Daniel fidgets nervously, "I didn't agree to her first offer. I told her it was out of my expertise. She said she didn't want to involve anyone else and then raised the amount. I kept refusing, but she kept raising it." He says, refusing to make eye contact. "How f*****g much, Daniel?!" I yelled, stepping up to him and putting my face directly into his. "One hundred fifty thousand!" He yells out the answer. "Damn," Andre says softly under his breath. I back away, "Where were you told to take her?" I ask, returning to pacing. "I was told to meet at an address given after I said I had her in my possession. She didn't specify anything after that. I was just the man grabbing her and handing her off."   Triggered by how he'd used the word possession, I dig my nails into the palms of my hands. To have Tori spoken about as if she was an inanimate object; did Daniel no favors. "Watch how you speak," Andre growls, sensing the spike in my energy. He, after all, was a Daddy Dom as well, and so he would recognize wordings that would send me into a protective rage. "I'm sorry, what di-" Daniel goes to ask, "She isn't something to be possessed! She is a human being that almost heard a grown man die in the dark by my f*****g hands! She has already suffered enough abuse. You will speak about her in the manner of her being respected!" I snarl, aware that I was losing my calm. Taking a deep breath, "What happens if you fail at abducting Tori?" I ask, trying to move on. "W-we didn't go over that," Daniel states, his expression showing that this was the truth. "Your whole plan was sloppy." Andre chuckles, "Hey! I told you this isn't my expertise! She should have hired a f*****g professional!"  Daniel says, trying to defend himself. "Do you have your phone on you?" I ask, stepping up to him. "Yes. In my pocket." He answers. Leaning down, I feel outside his leg for the presence of a phone and find it. Digging my hands into his pocket, I pull out his phone. "Code," I demand, swiping it open. "Come on, man." Daniel almost whines. "Shut the f**k up and give him the code!" Andre exclaims, stepping into being behind me.  "Eleven eighteen ninety-three" Daniel huffs a look of defeat on his face. Putting the code in, I scroll through his messages till I come upon Tori's mother's name. I read through them quickly and confirmed everything Daniel had said was factual. "I am going to tell her you didn't succeed at getting into the house. That my house has far too many security measures, you were unaware of. I am having you ask for twenty grand for your time and continuance in your attempt at abducting Tori. I will then send that twenty grand to myself. From here on work, you will be paid by me, with, of course, the money sent by Tori's mother. " I say, typing this all out while explaining. Andre begins to chuckle, "Holy s**t, that's smart." He says, looking over at me as I type. I look up, "Especially since it's obvious it's her mother wanting this, not her father. Her father is the one with connections. It's why she resorted to this pawn. I say, looking down at Daniel with a grin.  "What the f**k!" Daniel exclaims, sitting up in his chair. "God damn it!" He adds, throwing himself against the back of his chair. "You want to be paid, don't you?" I ask sarcastically. "You work for me now, Danny boy; you will be coming here to fill me in on what her mother's plans are. I want you to play double agent. And I am sure you're aware now who it is you should truly fear." I taunt, giggling the gun in my right hand.  "You got it, boss," Daniel states, nodding.
