Chapter 5

**Aria POV**

   The taste of blood is all I can think about this poor man is my victim. I really don't want to hurt him. 

"Aria You will not kill this man. We led by example and this is not what we do."A woman's voice inside my head shot at me so authoritative that I stopped instantly. What was that? I had never heard that voice before maybe it was just my subconscious trying to get me to spare the man. I looked the man deep into his eyes. 

        "You tripped and fell and got stabbed in the neck with a stick. You never saw me before." He shook his head in agreeance and got up and started jogging again. 

 "He stabbed his neck on a stick, you couldn't come up with anything better than that? Who would believe anything like that?" 

        "Thats all I could think about okay, I didn't know what else I was supposed to say. What would you have said Mr hot shot??" I said crossing my arms bothered by his judgment.

"How about you just tell him to forget this happened and to keep the bite covered it really isn't that hard you don't have to give them a damn back story." he rolled his eyes at me!

        "Hmm I don't like you attitude at least I made sure he wouldn't remember and he had an excuse for his neck."

"HAHA, my attitude well newbie you better deal with it because it is not going anywhere if you don't like it you can leave. I don't like dealing with new vampires I'm 176 years old I don't have time for games so if I tell you something take it as advice sweetheart cause I know what I'm talking about mkay."

 I just looked at him because he was being honest I don't know what I'm doing he is showing me how to be a vampire. I guess ill just have to deal with it until I can go off on my own. At least he isn't like john but I refuse to ever let someone put their hands on me or even talk to me like they did. I will never let it happen again this I promise myself. 

"OKay that's what I thought if you would like to return now you can follow me back to the church if you had your fill."

        "Your not going to feed?"

"I would rather wait until your not around so ill leave you with Maze while I go out and hunt. I can tell we are two different types of feeders anyway."

        "What is that supposed to mean?'

"Simple my dear I feed to kill. Humans are nothing to me I wont spare one."

        "Then why would you spare me?"

"I promise you it wasn't supposed to happen like that you my friend had the most delicious blood I have ever tasted. I was called away before I could even finish. I didn't think you would survive a change from how weak you looked but I sure was wrong. So since I made a mistake I'm going to help you transition into this life and then send you on your way."

I was so shocked what he said made my blood boil how can a person be so cruel. He was going to kill me, humans mean nothing I guess that's what vampires are like but not this one I refuse to be more of a monster than I have to be. All I need to do is get the basics down and go from there. So I put on the best calm face that I had. 

        " I see I understand well wasn't I lucky to meet a vampire like you. Its so nice of you to show me the ropes I really do appreciate it I would love to go back to the church can I ask you where can I sleep?"

   "You can use my cot until I go get you a new one. Ill do that after I feed."

 I shook my head in understanding and with that we were off back to the church.

**Maze POV**

I honestly don't know how to feel right now I'm supposed to spend my life on the move and now I feel so drawn to a new vampire. Why do I feel as though my heart wants to jump out my chest and land in her hands. I must ignore that dumb idea. I refused to tie my self down to anyone. Now I have to suck this all up and help her find out who she is. Honestly Im doing this for my own selfish reasons. I need to know why her eyes are red. I need to know if shes the girl I had the vision about. I will dig as deep into this as I can I know this is the start to something important. I can feel it in my bones.

"Maze were back you can have the girl I'm going on my own hunt."

    "Whatever you say azuell." Rolling my eyes at him, sometimes he could be so irritating to me he didn't even need to try it just happens. "come Aria, let's get started." I led her to the room in the church that is behind the alter this is where I do my spells. I have a pentagram on the floor an pointed for her to stand in the middle. 

  "I don't want to stand in there I don't worship the devil."

I busted out laughing "And who says that I do? This has nothing to do with the devil this is just to focus my magic." 

  "Oh."

        "Plus I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you have no soul now your a vampire.You have nothing to worry about regardless."

"SO IM GOING TO GO TO HELL??"

    "You really don't know anything do you? Well you are an immortal being now. It takes a lot to kill you. You would literally need to be pulled apart and burned for you to die."

She looked so confused and scared at the same time It made me laugh all over again. Her face was so cute that even scared her face seemed to sparkle. What in the world am I thinking about anyway lets just get started shall we.
