I felt like I was reeling, like the entire world had been turned upside down. A Moonborn? What did that indeed mean? Elijah's eyes appeared to bore into mine, as if he may see the questions twirling in my intellect. "It implies you have the control of the moon interior you," he rehashed. "The control to control the tides, to summon the lunar energy." I shook my head, attempting to clear the cobwebs. "But how?" I inquired. "How do I get to this power?" Elijah's grin was baffling. "That's the million-dollar address," he said. "The Moonborn bequest is complex, Aurora. It's tied to the lunar cycles, to the recede and stream of the tides." I felt a surge of dissatisfaction. "Fair tell me what I require to do," I demanded. Elijah's eyes flickered with entertainment. "Goodness, Aurora," he said. "It's not that straightforward. The Moonborn bequest requires persistence, teach, and sacrifice." I raised an eyebrow, captivated. "Give up?" I repeated. Elijah's gesture was grave. "Yes, Aurora. The Moonborn bequest comes with a cost. Are you willing to pay it?" I faltered, uncertain of what to say. But as I looked into Elijah's eyes, I knew that I had no choice. I had to reveal the insider facts of the Moonborn bequest, no matter the cost. "I'm willing," I said, my voice firm. Elijah's grin was like a beam of daylight. "At that point let's start," he said. And with that, he come to out and took my hand, driving me down a way that would alter my life until the end of time.
