That night we arrived home to a surprised Katie. I’m not sure if she was happy to see me alive or not but she faked a smile and gave me a quick hug. Can I blame her? I’m sure things were a lot easier with me being “dead.”  She has probably been hoping since Aaron left that the messenger was wrong and it was actually a different woman being cared for at the containment camp.  Exhausted and hungry from our trip Aaron and I ate the meal Katie placed in front of us and went to bed.  I felt a little guilty that things were going right back to the way they were before I disappeared, with Katie sleeping alone, and I being with Aaron.
