Nightmare

I can’t find the surface, and the air is exiting my body. My arms and legs frantically flail in the water trying to find a way out of the watery coffin. Oh god, not again.  I can’t go through this again. Water enters my mouth, and I begin choking on it finding no release.  The fire burns in my lungs as I gag on the water being inhaled.  Soon my body goes limp, and my soulless eyes open wide staring off into nothingness before the darkness cloaks me. Suddenly, air rushes into my lungs as the bright light blinds me. Coughing and struggling for air I realize I’m on a bed with a figure standing next to me.  No please I can’t  In between gasps for air and coughing I plead frantically. “Please don’t do this.  Don’t touch me.”  Struggling to get off of the bed but being too weak to move, David Ha
