“There now he’ll know I was here and there’s nothing he can do about it.” Flinging my head backward and releasing his grip, he turns away from me and stomps across the room.  Grabbing the door handle he hesitates, looking back at me once more.  “Soon” he mumbles leaving the room.  As soon as he leaves the room, I rush over to the bedroom door and lock it behind him, falling to the ground with my back resting against the wooden door my body convulses in tremors as tears of pure fear rush from my eyes.  What am I going to do? What am I going to do?  Repeats in my mind as I rock my body back and forth, hugging my knees close to my chest with my arms.              That night I couldn’t sleep as visions of David bursting through my door littered my mind.  Earlier in the day when Beth came up
