"That was a foolish move back there, Oliver." Ashlynn walked behind me, the two of us traveling up the path toward my father's palace. "He's expecting Ruby. Between the two of you he thought for sure you would come around first. He'll be disappointed in the day's event."
"I should have killed him instead of running away. It would have saved people a lot of trouble and saved a lot of lies." I stopped and turned to face Ashlynn. "I get you don't like Cassandra.
