The street cafe that had always been opposite Mr Marcello’s restaurant recently decided to redecorate their place. The Formica tables and red high-backed chairs were exchanged for more intricately woven plastic tables with sturdy legs and creamier, softer chairs with polished wood. They even changed their sign into something more modern that glowed beautifully at night. It could be rightly assumed that a new management was in charge of the cafe and indeed the management was taking their job seriously.
