The dinner party was in full swing, groups after groups of well-dressed men and women came on stage, received some awards, gave some speeches and all of that stuff that went on at work events. But Julianna had her eyes on the man who had put her in the worst place of her adult life. She watched as Andrea charmed everyone around him, including his wife, Skyler, who was obviously starting to warm up to him again.
Skyler couldn't be blamed though, she didn't deserve to be miserable for an act her husband committed all of his own accord if Julianna wanted to be honest to herself.
