Chapter 3

"Thank you"

Sheila and you're welcome, you can sleep here tonight! I said cutting him off!

I left to get him some water, he must be thirsty because of all that blood he lost! He needed more than just water but it's all I got after I'm no doctor. I hand him the glass water and he drinks it all in one go.

"How long was I out.?" He asked.

“Long enough.” I reply.

I was amazed by the way he had drink all the water without stopping, I thought: Damn. He's quite handsome and hot too (oh God). His lips on my water glass I jumped from my thoughts when he ask!

"What you thinking about...? Princess."

“Ah, nothing why would I be thinking about you!...” I said and he smiled! I feel my heart skip a beat.

"I didn't say you were thinking about me but it's good that you are thinking about me! Princess." He said and I try hard enough not to smile at his words and ask him!

“Why?”

"Why? What?..... Princess." He ask smirking at me.

“That! Don't call me that!” I said and he asked.

"Why?"

I stared at him like I was upset about it and left.

"Where are you going"? He asked.

“I am going to bed!” I said walking to my room,

"Oh what a shame, I thought there was only one bed!" He said and I smiled to myself. And turn back!

“For someone who got his ass kicked and almost died yet he sure has a lot of energy to flirt, and you would be on the couch if there was only one bed. Now go to bed, you need rest!” I said and he made a surprise face which was cute to me.

"Okay, okay." He said.

I went to my room as I lay down on my back remembering how hot he looks and how sparkling his deep blue eyes look when I looked at them, so cute. I thought and closed my eyes.

7:00 AM

I woke up brush my tooth and went down the stairs to make me a cup of coffee. A week!

“I have two whole weeks off remembering yesterday I was a bit sad knowing a few of my colleagues are going to get fired, that could have been me.” I say then I heard a voice from behind me.

"What could have been you?" I jumped scare to death.

"Ah you forgot about me. Huh? Hahaha..." He added!

“Yeah, and it is not funny. You can't do that you can't just walk up behind people without making a sound okay?” I said in an asking way pointing at him.

"Okay I won't do it again." He said give me that smirk.

“There won't be the next time because you have to go today, no, right this very moment and mind your own business.” I say. “Aren't you going?” I added in asking.

With that I look at him again because I think I didn't get a good look last night, but it turns out my vision is just as good as daytime as well as night-time he is so hot.

“Nice.” I said and walked away.

"Why do you keep walking away from me don't my charm work on you." He ask as I was leaving.

“No!” I reply! Thinking what charm, must be the one that almost die last night. “Why are you still here?” I asked him!

He said. "I can't leave just yet and those guys are still looking for me."

“Yeah, not my problem…” I said.

I had already made my cup of coffee so back up the stairs I go. I am gonna go see my. Family. Today, since I got to know them I like this word since I met kt, Sasha, and Noah. I have a hold of 2 weeks to do nothing. “Nothing to do.” I say out loud. I then took a shower after my coffee and got ready and totally forgot all about the stranger from my backyard who is still in my home. I went downstairs and there he was looking hella comfortable.

“Hey! You gotta go.” I said to him.

"I have no where to go…!" He said acting sad and cute, I'm not falling for that!

“Again not my problem plus, I'm not leaving you in my home!” I said.

"Yon't trust me much. Do you?" He ask like am supposed to trust a stranger.

“No, not even a little bit.” I added.

"Ouch." he said and it made me laugh a little and I liked it for some reason.

"Okay then take me with you I promise to be good, plus if you left me unprotected those guys will get me you'll have to take responsibility for it." I raised and eyebrow as I look at him like what?

"Yes. You're going to have to tell them why you save me and give me up to my death after saving me." He said smiling like it was something to smile about!.

“Oh god, you're such a prick.”

But I felt hurt by his words in a way and said.

“Fine. You better be good like you said just now.”

'Okay.' He whispered and I fine it cute.

“Did you hear me?”

"Yes, ma'am." He says with a smile. then he ask! "Aren't you going to eat.?"

I said. “I'll eat where I am going.”

"Okay," he says.

And with that, we left the house it took an hour to reach the hotel where Noah and Sasha live and work. Now that I think about it I don't know the name of this hotel. Never really did take notice of the hotel and I have ive here for a while and I still don't even know the name of the hotel by that matter how f. up is that!..

He then turns me, were stand in front of the hotel and asks. "This is where you going?"

“Yes.” I said.

As we walked up to the buildings. “They are going to be so happy to see me.” I said.

"Yeah me too!!! Well this should interesting." He added!

“You too.” I asked looking at him in wonder, why he would say that? Oh, forget it he's just messing with me…

Hmm! We walked in the hotel, as soon as they saw me they all got excited!! When we walk in even the staffs, I mean I left a good impression but it was an amazing one!? Sasha comes out from the back with a smile on her face happily and walks to us an open her arms for a hug but the hug wasn't for me.

Ouch, that hurts I felt really hurt and lost a voice in the back of my head said! NEVER! Why was she hugging him instead of me but all I could do is watch them hugged as smile with each other. I just got replaced and by a complete stranger. I then proceeded to asks. “What I missing here?” Noah who is standing behind me!

He said! "They are brothers and sisters."

“WHAT?” I said out so loud it breaks up there happy doing. “You two know each other.?” I asked and they look at me together! “Wait, no I'm heard wrong... Your brother and sister!? I must be dreaming someone please wake me up!” I turn to Noah and said I need liquor for this.

"Why do you need liquor? Princess! I told you they would be happy to see me. Too…" He said and I stare at him like you would better shut up.

But he keeps talking he told them everything that happens expect the part that he is badly hurt and might be in need of medical attention or be on the operation table. I was about to walk over them when he said,

"I need a place to stay and I won't be leaving this time around."

“You can always stay here at the hotel!.” Sasha suggested.

But he said. "No...you know what happen last time I stayed here and it's almost that time again. I run for my life from her gangster brothers I won't stay here."

Suddenly I didn't like where this was heading!!!! But it turns out the guy's who were trace in him was actually because of some girl he had a one night stand and the leader's of the group is that girl brothers. Wow. Just wow, still not my problem.

I then thought he's definitely trouble and I want to be far from it. "I'll stay at princess place." He said and I snapped from my thoughts.

“Oh hell no…………. Anywhere but my place. I don't even know you!”

Sasha turns to me. “What's the worst could happen? Oh for my sake, please. But why her place?” Sasha ask him!

"Because"

“Because what?” Sasha cut him asking!?

"Just because." He said and Sasha then turns me.

“Let him stay for a while. A mean what could possibly go wrong?” She ask, like is just because a good enough reason?

A lot of things could happen. I could r**e him, I could give him up to those guys, I could even kill him myself, I could torture him, I could turn him into my very own salve.

But! Sasha knows I have built up a weak spot for her and she's using it against me right this moment there she goes with her puppy dog eyes the ones you fell for and do or say things you're not supposed to.

“Okay, fine he can stay until he finds a place and leaves… And I'm only doing this because of you Sash.” I added and she smiles.

“Thank you.” She smile, and I have never saw this much happiness on her not even with Noah.

Could their brother and sister love is stronger? That it over powered a husband and wife Love? How much I would give just to have that. LOVE. And from my family, I bet they don't even realize that I have left for two years plus now, or do they even care? I ask myself as I look at Sasha my eyes caught a girl comes from the back and said to Sasha.

“I need” She stops a stare at him.

It was like she have seen the ghost of Christmas past! But I haven't seen her before she must have been hired last month may be because it's been a month since I last came to visit since the hotel has been busy, so, I have been doing all the visits when I have the time to do so.

I look at her then thought they must have been together! And the thoughts of such a thing as if they sleep together make me angry and then I said it before I could stop myself.

“Someone cares to explain!?” Honestly, I don't know what came over me!

"It's a long story."

“I have time.” I said without thinking.

Why do I care who he has been with? I don't even like or know the guy for that matter! Why am I being jealous for? I'm not even dating him, what's happening to me? I can't let myself down. No, I must get a hold of myself. Everyone was looking at me and him as if we a married couple having our first fight!

"Okay but later!" He said walking up to me and then he leans in and whispered in my ears. 'since I'm staying at your place.'

The fact he's so close and me suddenly have in no control over myself! I just stood there blushing like crazy and for once I love the fact my skin color was not white, that would been embarrassing! He was so close, oh god what's happening to me? This isn't me! I turn to Sasha and Noah who is standing and staring at us who is acting like we're a couple.

“Are you two dating?” Sasha ask!

"Yes." He said!

“No!” I said.

"Today is our first official date." He said and I stare at him like what the hell!!?

“Sasha we need to” I said and she cut me off!

“Yes, we definitely should!”

We went to our table in the dining section of the hotel I sat along with everyone else.

“First of all, we are not dating. second, I change my mind you're not staying with me that's a big No!!. The third is, I didn't know you hire new workers..?”

“Oh no, she has been with us for over 4 years she had asked for time off and it was given to her!” Sasha explain to me.

“Oh okay.” I said.

“But you guys should date! It would be good to have a sister that doesn't want him for his money. The hotel is under our name, he's going by a new company or he already did. It will open officially next month.”

She said putting her hand behind her neck!

“That's like a week and a half away, we're going to celebrate the opening on the first Sunday night. At the buildings so please let him stay with you!”

She plast her hands together pleading!

“For the time being for my sake, please.”

I can never say no to her because she had grown on me, she knows it amd she using it against me.

“There you go you're doing it again.” I said.

“Sorry, but I have reasons.” She said!

“Okay, he can stays but we are not dating.” I said!

“Okay.” Sasha said with a big grin on her face like she can predict the future of her brother and me.

We talked about a lot of stuff and she told me about the sign on the top of the hotel, Lee's hotel which I have never noticed until now I went outside and look!!. Sasha told him how we meet and then I realize that I don't even know his name so I turn to him and ask!

“What is it like to you and your name?”

But Sasha answered me instead. “Chan Lee, the lady's man with a wealthy background his dad is from Korea. his dad fell in love with our mom on one of business trip and they had my little baby brother here. Oh, he is just three years older than you.” She said.

“Oh,” I said. “So where are they your parents? You never talk about them?” I added in asking! And that's when the room goes silent I look at Noah who looks like he's about to cry, I turn to Sasha and her brother and that's when I realize something bad most have to happen?

Chan said. "They had an accident 4 years ago."

“I am sorry.” I said as a sad feeling takes me over.

"You didn't know." He said he turn his gaze from me to hide the tears in his eyes. Then he smiles and said!

"Of course, you wouldn't Princess, and that is part of the reason I don't like staying at this particular hotel regardless." He said.

“I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked.” I said feeling guilty that I brought it up!

"It's okay." He said, putting my hair behind my ears. "Aren't you just cute." He added!

I try to smile, he is just trying to change the subject but why did he use me as his distraction..?

I'm running from my family who is still alive and there's are no longer around, am I being selfish even though they might be happy that I'm gone out of their life. At least they were love, adore and accepted by their parents from the way they continue to talk about them.

I didn't realize how time had passed by it's 4.pm. In the afternoon.

“You guys should eat before leaving.” Said Sasha.

I had completely forgotten about eating, after ordering what wanted to eat! We all sat and enjoy our meal. It was so long ago but Chan still looked like his parents passing took place just yesterday. ·Time past· I look at the time.

“God, it's 7:30, it's time to head home.” I said! When we decided to leave he said,

"You head home first I have something to take care of!"

“Hmm.” I said.

After I arrived home, as soon I entered and closed the door suddenly it felt empty for the first time… My home where I have lived felt empty I was home and alone as usual but this time I feel so alone so lonely like someone or something is missing.

“I always tell myself not to let my guard down and that no one sticks around!So why am I feeling like this?” I asked myself looking around at the space that have suddenly felt empty.

I'm feeling lonely because of a complete stranger from my backyard whom I have had in my pace for almost 24h. I sat at the kitchen table until I doze off without knowing I had fallen deep into sleep.

I woke up from the sound of the door closing it was him it was the stranger that was in my backyard, my heart felt happy like watching fireworks for the first time and all that excitement and happiness.

"Did you fell asleep there waiting for me?" He ask! And I snapped!

“Why would I wait for you are you huh? … Are you my man? . I didn't think so... Wait a minute, how did get in?... I'm very sure I lock it!” He just stare at me with a smile.

"I took a key." He said!

“Yo. You took a. You bastard!” I said and he was smiling like it was good thing.

He took a key is this his house? ·Angry· I head upstairs I check the time it was 10 o'clock s**t I slept there waiting for him I didn't even realize the time.

“I can't believe myself!!..??” With that said I changed and went to bed knowing that I'm not alone anymore. But was I really waiting on him? Is it that I'm too lonely do I really need company? It's almost four or five years since I been with someone are maybe more I had stop counting of they killed my unborn child.

I don't want to cry but I could have been a mother right now and my baby... My tears come running down my face and I just couldn't let myself crawl up a dark place again. I have to live and be happy not only for me but also my child he/she would want mommy to be happy. I'm now 23 which make it 4 year's since she feeds me sleeping pills and took me to the hospital and took away the life that was in me.

Dear Mother and sister, I will never forgive you nor will I forget what both of you did to me! Dear Father and brother, I won't forgive you for sitting aside and watching me get bullied and abused. I have no place in my heart for any of you anymore, I must put the my past behind me I need to move go on it.
