I walked back to the cozy-corner booth, the dim sky outside telling me it must be early evening, if not later by now. Truth was, I had barely even considered the time since I had met up with Raven. And, sat side by side with her, nor was I in any hurry to head back home. I was likely to miss the evening meal served to pack within the dining hall, but the toasted sandwiches I had ordered for Raven and I would more than make up for it. The slight grumble of her belly had signaled to me, it may be time to eat, and the empty coffee mugs suggested it could be time to get another drink... it was either that or we left, and I was enjoying her company too much to head home, so I suggested we stay. It sure beat sitting on my own. Hell, I hated to say it, but it may even beat the training I normally
