As Jeremy swung open the door, a sudden "bang" echoed, and Patrick yelped as the door struck him.
"Find my remedy," Jeremy stated.
Patrick was thoroughly confused. He thought Madeline was the remedy. No one else was here.
As Jeremy started walking away, Madeline couldn't resist and spoke up, "Are you really going to see her?"
Jeremy, back turned to her, spoke in a chilling tone, "Isn't that what you want?"
Madeline bit her lip, suddenly feeling that no amount of words could express her feelings. She had never hoped for him to go find Joanna.
Clearly, he desired Joanna, and she sighed without saying much.
"Don't leave the door open when you leave." Then, Madeline turned and ran away.
Just as she reached the bathroom, she heard the door slam shut.
