At 9.00 a.m. Benny knocked on the front door of Olivia's cottage. He had to make sure she wasn't home; that she wasn’t sick or taking a day off work. His heart thumped as he strained his ears for any sounds of movement inside. He had no idea what he would say if she opened the door; it had only been two days since he'd mowed her lawn.
