I could hear the muffled clapping from the event hall, all the way back here, but I was focused on the woman that walked out of the dressing room, the slight makeup on her face gone and her dress changed back into her own. She had gone into the room and closed the door just as I got here in the backroom so I waited. I pushed up front the wall and started towards her, but before I could get to her, a woman walked to her, smiling. “Ms. Jasmine. I heard you did exceptionally well out there.” she said.
