Clair was barely able to get up when her phone rang. She was rubbing her eyes and stroking her hair into a mess and yawning. She checked the time and it was 5 o'clock in the morning and even though the light in the room was turned off, Clair knew she had returned to her condo.
The maiden immediately turned on the lampshade on the side table on the right side of her bed and then answered the call without looking at the caller's name.
"Clair."
A hoarse voice greeted her and she knew who he was right away. Clair sighed first before answering him.
"Creux, do you need anything? It's only 5 in the morning."
The maiden answered, getting annoyed as her sleep was disturbed.
"I'm just checking you, to see if you're home. I've been calling you earlier, but you're not answering my call."
