Jed spent the next day on edge. He compiled his evidence against the businessman and waited for the crime lab to supply him with the final piece so he could get an arrest warrant and close the case. He called the crime lab several times during the day, but they kept telling him of a delay in uncovering the information from under the thick marker. Although the CSI officer sounded vague, Jed assumed it was because he was annoying them.
While Jed was talking to Tug in their office, two men dressed in suits walked in and went over to them
