The choice

That day!

  "Mother " started Mariane with confidence, "i can't recall when was the last time you spoke with Violet Vonghan , you know how much I love her ideas for weddings !" , she continued, making her mother question herself. 

   "Oh my Mariane, you are right! We haven't spoke in the last two days, what she will think about me ?!" , her mother replied in shock, "i got myself into preparing your wedding ... I shall give her a call now, and invite them for a tea later this evening!" 

      "Wow, how did she do that ?!" thought Elana, while carefully smiling without being seen.  

       Her friend always had a good relation with her parents, but somehow, Elana felt like was a rather controlling relation, from Mariane's part. Even with her husband to be, while never girls been allowed to say something regarding this, or suggest, Mariane managed to get the one she wanted . Although, not for love , but for convenience. 

   It was not the time to think about details, she needed to plan how will see Korai safely , while everyone in the house. This, of course, if they will accept invitation , anf if the Vonghan's will bring him and his family too.

       "Of course they are welcomed too, Violet, will be a great chance for them to wonder around !" Mariane's mother's words came straight into Elana's ears, blooming her soul and thoughts. Like someone was listening her mind, and tried to make it possible every thought she had.  

    Oh , the thoughts in her mind, it became more deeper and sensual then ever. She was trembling each time at the idea of having Korai in front of her, to get her hands through his messy, yet so perfect, hair, absorbing with her eyes every inch of his body,oh that body! 

    "Mariane" started Elana ," you know we never speak or mention about this things, but have you ever thought at the moments of intimacy with your husband?" shyly continued.

      "Of course you silly! " she replied with an ironic tone. "Elana, we all think about this, you read it in books, you see it in movies, is just the way we have been taught to hide our deeper thoughts, to think reasonably, and to respect family..."

   Elana interrupts her in a stern voice"You say i don't respect my parents?!" 

    "No Elana, i think you are the lucky one silly! Experiencing something that probably none of us will ever! But let's make sure noone will find out about this ..." Mariane paused followed by a deep sight , " but ..." she added , lowering her tone," did you think about if he will respond to your request?"

     Silence fell over the room. The two friends where now looking at eachother questioning Mariane's words. Reality hit hard once more . 

     Elana remain quiet , while making herself comfortable in the sofa, next to the window. The sky, now all red caused by the sunset, appeared to cry at her pain. It was something she couldn't describe, a thought that she didn't want to have, to develope. The "what if" that she rapidly shoved back to her mind, started to come out, and slowly distroy all the hopes she had, all the dreams she started.   

  "Look Elana, Violet put some new photos of her holiday !" Said Marianne in exclamations, trying to change the subject for a moment. "She was very lucky with her new husband and his family." 

     Elana looked at her with a forced smile , to seems like she was enjoying the new conversation. "Ahem..." was all she could reply , in approval. 

     The silence was back again, until the butled interrupted: " Miss Mariane, Miss Elana, the Vonghan family has arrived . Your father wanted to remind Miss Elana , that she will need to stay in your room until the tea is over, due to the fact the Vonghan's came accompanied. " he finished with a bow and hold the door for  Mariane. 

      The room got darker and darker, and all the sounds you could heard , was the echoes coming from the tea room. Elana looked again the window , her figure was  sadder than ever, her body trembling of fear and curiosity in the same time, her thoughts where having a big fight in her mind, but her desire of knowing and feeling more was much powerful. Instantly she felt the urge to see Korai, the thought being close to him made for the first time ever to wet herself. Elana's thoughts changed in seconds from passion to erotic, and she just wanted to feel live what she only could imagine at this point. She let aside any other feelings that haunted her mind right now, she was decided for what will happen next!

      Slowly, in the tea room everything started to settle, and the ladies separated from the gents, into the living room.   

Mariann got closer to Korai " i am sorry , didn't memorise your name , as you've been verg quiet all this time!" she added in an ironic way,"but i know you are looking for a perfect match, i do hope you will soon find what you looking for!" ended with an accentuate tone, while putting her look over his pocket, in the same time as she shoved, without being noticed, a piece of paper. 

   "Leave him alone Mariane, you making him uncomfortable " added her mother , while everyone laughed at the situation. 

    "His staying in the states made him ... umm , a bit wild , as we like to say" started Korai's mother, Emma. "But we know he will be a perfect match to anyone!" 

       "THE STATES?!" replied Mariane surprised ? "Like , he has been living there ?" 

Her tone changed dramatically. She just realised what she has done, and the fact she just put a note in his pocket, couldn't helped much. 

         Sometimes , families with more than two boys , will allow for one to go and live in America , for what they thought will be a good experience and exchange in acknowledgment. Not many would do this though , because the commoners where more present in their life , and that will ruin a chance to connect with another rich family. That also meant that the boys where losing their traditions and respect to form a family. Both Mariane and Elana heard stories in the past , about boys coming back from States , married a girl from another community, but still kept affairs with commoners, or even worse , brough them in their homes, and wife where places second. This was secretly kept between them, so the girl's family wouldn't take notice. 

    The thought made Mariane to shake , instantly going pale. If she would've known before!  

       "Korai always kept a good behaviour while living there, and we are sure he will never do anything to embarrass us!" added quickly his mother, like she had just read Mariane's mind, and wanted to excuse herself. 

     Tension had been raised in the room, and the pleasant atmosphere that was so far, transformed into an exchange of surprised looks. 

      The moment was dispersed by the butler, who announced that the living room area is ready for the ladies, and that he prepared a setting for the gentlemen , in the conservatory.

       While sitting at the window, Elana looked straight into the garden, trying to settle her dirty mind, as nothing she was thinking, was normal now . In the next second she could see four men following the butler, toward the conservatory.  Her heart beats where faster, as she realised who was. She knew Mariane's dad, Mr Vonghan, and recognised Korai, so that meant the fourth man must've been Korai's dad. Indeed, the resemblance was obvious. "Wonder how his mother looks like?!" She whispered to herself. 

      Been almost an hour now, and Elana started to lose her patience. "Where is Mariane, why doesn't she come and tell me what happened?" murmured while trying to open a bit the door to hear what happens downstairs. "Ahhh!" Shouted Elana scared. 

    "Sorry Miss Elana, didn't meant to scare you" quickly excused the maid "i was just about to knock on the door. Miss Mariane said she is waiting for you in the library."

      It was the sign she been waiting, so Elana didn't waist another second, slightly pushed the maid out of her way, and run to the library. 

     The big doors from the library open in a second, as Elana made her entrance , barely breathing. "When your house became so big?!" said Elana while trying to catch her breath.

      Mariane's face wasn't as happy as hers, and she definitely didn't look like she was still up to help. "Elana, we need to talk" .

     "Please, we had already discussed about it, i know in what mess i will be, the risks and consequences!" she replied, while trying to stop Mariane, knowing that what she will say , might make her change mind. "Did you do it?!" she added, referring to the note. 

  "Yes , but ..." said Mariane, trying to explain the situation. 

   "No but, i need to go there and wait for him! " Elana quickly replied, with a content smile on her face. 

She knew everything was wrong, but the passion in her body was winning the fight. She wanted to feel his touch, lips, skin, she wanted more. 

    Mariane forgot about was she wanted to say, as got absorbed by Elana's words. She was getting married in 2 days, but her best friend was still able to have an adventure, that they couldn't even dreamed at it. Both left the room, with Mariane explaining to Elana how to get at the meeting place. "You need to be very careful. I will tell mum that you weren't confident in come down , while guests still here, so best to avoid any unpleasant situation. You do need to get back by midnight, I don't know if i can cover you for longer!" she ended, as she gave Elana a hug. 

   "I will, i promise!" Elana replied and quickly found her way to an old lodge at the other end of the property.

     "Are you ok Korai, hope Mariane words didn't disturb you, she does tend to speak too much sometimes!" Mariane's father tried to dispers the tense from earlier. "Please, have a glass of wiskey, enjoy the time in our community ", he continued, smiling. 

     Fred , the butler, started to pour wiskey in all glasses, while the gents continued discussion about businesses and trips. "Please, enjoy the drink, and make yourselves comfortable. I will be in the hallway, if there is anything needed." the butler added, while showing them the brown wooden sofas,all covered in peach coloured cushions, arranged around a round coffe table.  The windows from conservatory were filtering the sun in such way, that looked like the place sparkling with magic powder all over. 

  Korai suddenly felt more relaxed and remembered about Mariane and that she touched his pocket in a weird way. "What is this?!" He thought as he put his hands inside, feeling the piece of paper. 

    "Where are you going Korai?" Asked his father.

      "I noticed the floral arrangements for the wedding father, you know I've always had a passion for , can i have a look properly?" He replied, trying to hold his pocket, to hide it from their eyes. 

     "If course, go ahead, Mariane's mother did everything" proudly replied Mariane's father. "If you like it, then i am sure will relax you a bit.", he continued while quickly turned his eyes to Korai's father " will you be staying over the weekend? We mentioned about our daughter's wedding. We will be delighted to have you here, as special guests, plus will be a very good occasion to meet everyone in the community. "

    Korai's father looked at him with surprise "We didn't planned to be so long here, but can't refuse such an honour."  

      A wedding was the only place where everyone could be at the same time, and for the girls to see boys from other community, which was usually the one where new bride was moving. Everything had to be kept at distance , and they weren't allow to talk , only the adults , if they wanted to express any interest. 

     "That's done then, let's celebrate, and hope that this will bring to a future connection with someone from here!" Mariane's dad exclaimed and raised his glass to cheers. 

        That's how many of the conversations ended usually, in a marriage arrangement, or suggestions to possibly good families. 

      Korai rolled his eyes , while smiled and nodded an agreement to those words. After his return from States, that's what all he could here. 

     Quickly made his way out from the conservatory, to the gazebo, and made himself comfortable on the house, while gently takes out the note: "Elana want's to meet you Wizard" first words on the note made him laugh,"you can go along the pond to the bottom of the field, where the garage is. You will see an old lodge,with green door.safe there!" 

    "What is this?" He thought, confused. Wasn't she aware of the rules, and what happened if she breaks them? Even if it was just a friendly meet, they would still be in trouble."Those golden curls , i knew will be trouble" he thought, as he tried to remain in control of his feelings. But he wanted to bad to see her again, she was worth to break the rules for, and would have been a fun way to dispers the boredom that he incurred since he was back. 

      As soon as ge got up to check the surroundings, and how to get there safe, Mariane's father came up "Korai, after those big apple trees , we have the white garden that goes to our pond. While there, take a chance to enjoy my lovely collection of car in the garage!" 

     Mariane's father just made it easy for him! Korai replied with a huge smile while waving a temporary goodbye.

    The green rusty door opened slowly, as Korai tried to search the insides, and look carefully behind him. 

    "Are you crazy?!" He said in a lowered tone. 

    "We usually say hello at first!" Elana replied laughing. "But maybe it's different from where you come" continued mocking him in a friendly way. 

     An awkward silence surrounded the lodge. Same question was in both's heads,what now?! 

    "I-i-i ..." Elana searching for her words.

    "Ah, you are a stutter too, and crazy! " quickly added Korai, returning her mocks .

      "No , i'm not,you silly" Elana rapidly stood for herself, as she touched gently his chest.  

       Silence.Their eyes where concentrated on that touch. For Elana, it was first time she touched a boy that wasn't from their community. For Korai, that touch felt so heavy on his chest, ready to cause a heart attack. 

Elana blushed, and quickly retreated her hand. 

      "So, why are you here ? " he asked, breaking the awkward silence. 

        As soon as he finished talking, Elana jumped on him and kissed his lips. "I'm sorry for my reaction!"quickly backing a few steps, blushing because of she just did.  

    Korai felt her innocence and stumbling. It was a cuteness that could melt any frozen heart, and the sparkle in her look gave him goosebumps. He was used with having girls near him, even to kiss them, but the moment with Elana was something that he never felt. 

     His body felt the urge to get her closer, to comfort and without any words, to let her know that everything was ok.  

     "We will be in deep trouble if we get caught!" Where the only words Korai could gather. 

      "You are right, i am sorry, you must think I'm horrible" Elana replied, as her happiness changed rapidly. "You should get back to the mansion." 

       "I didn't say you are horrible, and for sure I don't want to go back to the mansion. I just said we will be in trouble. " he said to reassure her. "I don't know why, but seems the right thing to be here with you. " 

      Elana's face brightened at his words. "So, I haven't asked you, but from where you are from? " trying to open a conversation. 

      "We are from north Europe actually, from the Northern green fields community. My parents gone into this trip around communities to search for .." 

   Elana stopped him. She knew what was about it to hear, and she didn't want to. In a second she jumped towards him to kiss him again. It was like someone else got into her body , and made her doing all this crazy steps.  

      Next she knew, her hand was in his hair, with tongues mixing together like two puzzle pieces. Butterflies in her stomach, as his hands grabbed har waist and make their way up to the neck, in slow motion, as if he wanted to measure every inch .

     Korai's feelings got stronger as she felt her body in his hands, and suddenly the innocence became passion, then burned inside them.  "We need to stop Elana!" he said, as slowly let her go rrom his arms. "You make me have this strange desires,this urge in me to go all over you body!" 

He sighed, as got himself down on the floor.  

     "I don't know what true love is, Korai, we are not allowed to even think about it. All our life live in a constant monotone, and being careful of not to break the rules. Stupid rules! " contiuned Elana, changing her tone aggressively. 

     "Should i tell her that I definitely understand her, as my whole life i've lived in States, and now my parents wants this?No, i've seen Mariane's reaction, she will get scared too!" Korai thought, as he looked straight to Elana. 

     He could only open his arms to offer a hug.  

    "You have a very good friend, you know?" He continued, trying to disperse the sadness in Elana's eyes.

    "Yes , indeed she is. She is like the sister i never had, or brother..." she stopped, looking down. You could see the disappointment in her voice, at this words, as she was the only child. "My whole life been under pressure, everyone was talking about me in the community. I always felt like I wasn't enough, like i needed sibling to share this burden with them. " Elana started to confess, while making herself comfortable in his arms. She instantly felt calm and secure in his arms. The lodge , which was old,full of dust and webs , now felt like a palace, and the dirty rug, was a fur piece at touch. The butterflies in her stomach multiply in second, and she was about to take fly , if they didn't stop.  

     "Elana, thank you for this, it was amazing, and I absolutely enjoyed each second. Well, if we where caught,at least to be in your sweet company." Both laughed at the thought . 

    Korai took advantage and pulled her for another kiss. Slowly grabbed her back and pressed her chest on him , feeling her n*****s through the clothes.        "What are you doing there Korai, don't be nosey and search to people's property. " his father scolded him. 

         As he looked behind, hoping that Elana wouldn't go out right now,  tried to get his father out of the place as soon as possible. 

     " Come father, i had enough of walking this evening!"
