ALPHA KANEN
“Tomorrow?”
Beta Malone bowed his head to the ground. “That is right, Alpha Kanen.”
I shot to my feet at once as I looked out of the window. This was slowly getting out of hand. Yes, I have thought of the meeting and I felt I should do as Beta Malone had said, but it didn’t mean that I was actually comfortable with it.
“There is something that you should know.”
“What is it?” I asked, without turning back.
“You don’t need to take my advise if you feel it’s not right, Alpha Kanen,” Beta Malone mumbled.
I frowned. “Why is that?”
There was silence, and that made me turn around to look at him. There was something that he was hiding and I had no idea what it was. Beta Malone never changed how he felt about some certain issues, no matter what.
“I’m listening,” I pressurised.
