I slowly moved back from her, feeling slightly guilty that I was torturing her like this. I had no idea why I felt bad, but somehow I did. Her angry words were not also helpful, but she shouldn’t have a whiff that I was worried about her or it might spell doom for me. The last thing that I want was to make this blabbermouth have some edge over me.
