“I have all the reason to believe that Aunt Mida’s enchantment casted in that forest was the reason both good and bad spirits mingled in our human world.” Solenn convincingly shared to Jam her thoughts about the unexplainable events that had been happening in their own lives after that horrible incident at Sam’s Resto. She added.. “She just wanted to bring his nephew Drake’s life back but unfortunately she unleashed other forces that caused mysteries and miseries to all those who happened to pass by along Donsal Road and its nearby communities. Those forces had been running to and fro, seeking whom they may devour and if you happen to lack faith, consider yourself warned, in passing along or live near it.” “I never thought you have that kind of thinking now Solenn..” “Are you beginning to be a psychic or what?” Jam asked curiously. “After all we had been through in that forest, I felt something had implanted in me that made me more conscious now about unseen forces on their unseen world.” Solenn answered as she continued reading the “book of spirits” after their adventures at Donsal Road. “How did you know that and how did you know about Aunt Mida’s enchantment?” Jam asked wondering. “I saw it when I was unconscious in that forest.. My soul was awake and they made me see it.” Solenn shared. “Who are they.. the spirits?” Jam asked again. Solenn replied, “Yes! I saw them.. flying everywhere, walking in the air.. the good where those in white long gowns and were smiling at me telling me to be strong.. and the bad were in black.. their faces were grisly and out of their mouth blew fire and lava.” Solenn recalled frightfully. “Hey.. hey.. is that for real.. are you losing your mind?” Jam atrociously asking. “I am beginning to be afraid here Solenn.. stop that.” Jam added. “I’m sorry but it’s the truth. I haven’t told you all of these before because I was too afraid.. but now I am prepared to face all of my fears.. prepared to face them now.” Solenn explained. Jam began to feel scared of what Solenn was talking about. But she believed everything she was saying not just because she’s her friend but because she saw Solenn has never been afraid in her life eversince.. not until now. All Jam could do was to give her a hug and ease a little bit the fear she saw in Solenn’s eyes. She couldn’t tell her that she too has discovered something different in herself recently. But she took it for granted. Jam was beginning to see the future but she also has developed the power to change it if the desire of her heart was pure. She wanted to keep it for as long as she could but maybe it’s time to tell her friends about it.. just like Solenn did. It’s been months he was still looking for his father and he was beginning to lose hope. Teo missed his dad so very much and couldn’t find enough answers why these unseen powers never stopped haunting him and his family including his friends. Months passed that it wasn’t only his father’s disappearance that kept on bothering him but he was also troubled by something he wasn’t even familiar of. His felt something in his hands and all over his body. Everytime he felt the urge deep within, his eyes were burning hot and some kind of strength all over him wanted to let loose. Some kind of a very strong energy has lived in his whole being. He has never been as confused as ever in his entire life and he has to talk to someone to know his state of mind. As Jam and Solenn were embracing new dilemma, Teo was somewhat confused of what was happening to him. “Any new developments on my father’s case?” Teo asked the police in charge. He never stopped coming over at the police station since his father’s disappearance from the hospital. “Actually.. there is.” the police answered in quite a bothering look. The police continued... “Three days ago an old well suited man came over here at the station and was very eager to tell us something about Mr. Sanders, your father, but because we were all busy at that time we asked him to sit for a while and we will attend to his information about the case. I saw him sat down on that wooden chair but when I was about to come to interview him he was gone. Maybe he was tired of waiting for us, lost his patience and went away. But I believe he know something about your dad’s whereabouts because he kept on telling that he saw Mr. Marlo Sanders at the hospital just minutes before he was reported gone.” “Oh my.. I am wondering who could that be and what could his information be... you never saw where he went after?” Teo asked desperately. “Unfortunately I wasn’t able to talk to him.” The police answered. Teo was so disappointed while leaving the police station. As eager as ever he never left the vicinity for a while hoping that the old man would come back and share his side of the story. He sat on that bench just meters away from police office. He kept on looking from side to side, staring intensely at every people passing by especially those well suited men who were on the prime years of their lives. He was feeling excited and there it came again.. the urge inside of him just couldn’t get away. He kept on shaking his hands in mid air just to let go of the intense feeling. He kept on jumping and stretching on the street while waiting for the old man in a suit.. just to at least ease whatever force that was living inside of him. He was thinking, “What is happening to me?” He was bothered but learned to live with it for months. Little did he know that same things bothering his friends. He waited and waited on the bench for hours but no old man appeared before his sight. He slowly began to walk away from that place. He decided to go home and thinking to come back and try his luck again. In his mind that old man could be the key in his father’s disappearance and he had to ask for his friends help. He knew well that he couldn’t do it alone. During times where they had to be together his friends never left him and he had to tell them what was happening to him. As he reached home, he found his mother waiting on a couch. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. He was so guilty everytime he saw his mother like that. She has been like that since her husband was missing. Her life was only centered to his husband and his heart broke seeing how she had suffered enough from the loss. Sleepless nights made her weak and every memory of him made her bear the unbearable pain. If only he could do something for his mom he could have done it a long time ago but only his father could make her happy again. He missed the smile on her face and he even missed the food she cooked on the table for them and how he wished he could find his dad the sooner to bring back the brightness of life his family gave to him. The happy memories he had with his mom and dad couldn’t be replaced of anything this world could offer him. He would do anything for his mom and that to bring his dad back in her arms. But how would he do that was another story. His first step could be.. finding that old man and know everything he knew.. That would be a good start. “Where on earth could we find what we are looking for, Luke?” Johnny told Luke pissed off as he was helping him scanning all kinds of spirit true stories books in the biggest library located in their area. “Just look for any of its kind and keep your mouth shut!” Luke agitatedly answered. “Both of you come here.. take a look.” Nate excitedly showed to them something that might give them a little help on their endeavors. Luke and Johnny immediately rushed where Nate was, holding just a piece of paper in his right hand. “Are you kidding me Nate?” Johnny asked in disappointment. In big curiosity, Luke took it away from Nate’s hand and their eyes were fixed to what they were reading. “I know what you’re looking for.. time is of the essence, you must hurry!” They chorused while reading the paper. “What does it mean?” Nate asked. Luke replied, “it could mean.. danger.. again..” “Not again.. I am so done with the woods!” Johnny exclaimed. “Where did you get this Nate?” Luke asked. “I saw it on the floor.. it was a bit shiny for a moment so I picked it up but it suddenly lost its shine.” Nate answered. “Hey.. all of you listen.. I know everyone of us now is experiencing some kind of a strong force inside of us and I suspected that it was all because of what we’d been through at the forest. We were either victims or beneficiaries of what the forest released that day.. the whooshing of the strong wind.. the voices that were heard all over.. the spirits that were unleashed during the incident and I felt it all deep inside of me. We must be careful now and handle this force properly and in good will. I know Teo, Jam and Solenn have it in them also and we have to meet.” Luke suggested. “We should.. but we have to help Teo find his dad first.. it’s been quite some time now that there are no latest reports to Mr. Sanders’ whereabouts..” Nate shared. “That piece of paper maybe a warning to all of us and we have to move as fast as we could to save him.. but the question is who could that be who gave that note to us.. maybe he or she knows something.” Johnny said apprehensively. The forest alongside Donsal Road has been quiet since the last adventure Teo and his friends had experienced. Spirits had rested maybe for a while not counting the last heinous event happened at Sam’s Resto where they encountered. After the terrible atmosphere it created the whole community was back to normal again. No criminals or suspects had been accused or put to prison regarding the incident because no witness has ever came out to shed some light. Not until one old man came to tell about it suppose to be. The rest of the world was peaceful but not Teo and his friends. The spirits that instilled in Luke, Johnny and Nate were as powerful as what was in Teo, Jam and Solenn. Maybe Solenn was right that both bad and good spirits came over to human world because of enchantment. They had different purposes. Of course it was obvious that the good wanted peace and the bad wanted war. For the moment, only Teo and his friends felt the wild atmosphere that was beginning to set free in different directions. But anytime soon that wild atmosphere will be wilder. Dark side would gather enough strength and when they are ready, one by one people in different places would feel exactly what they feel. It was just a matter of handling the situation on how to conquer the trouble those unseen forces were giving them. Only those who could endure to the end will end up victorious and those weak in faith will suffer the consequence. They knew that good spirit would help them well. But bad spirit would never stop devouring and the purity of their hearts would decide whether they were capable of fighting the evil ones or die in vain.
