The first day while Ben's away, I am antsy. Valerie is there to watch me with Hammie, which makes it too difficult for me to speak much without her reporting it back. The second day, I am convinced he's coming back. A few meant two, right? Grace is good company; we invite her friends from the Ritual over to give them the a fertility tea I made. In good spirits, I cook a feast for Ben's arrival, but he doesn't show. The third day, I am irritated and impatient.
