Shocked was an understatement to describe how Zoey was feeling.
After the incident that happened with Celeste at the Asian spot, she knew he was a creep and did all she could to avoid him, but after he begged her in the kitchen last night not to run away from him, she calmed down a little it even though he still f*****g scared her.
Now, she was hearing this?
Fuck.
If Zoey had ‘f**k you’ money, she’ll pack all of her things out of his apartment that night and stay at an Airbnb or a hotel, but the little money she had, she was guarding it jealously because one day, whether anybody liked it or not, she was going to move out of this damn apartment to something of her choosing. It was sad she had to stay here and endure all of this.
