ZOEY Zoey hated lying. Better yet, she hated lying to her parents. It was the reason why as soon as those lies made their way out of her mouth, she felt so guilty and bad. She immediately wanted to call her mother and renounce all that she had said. She was beginning to hate their way of life, but that didn’t warrant all the lies. She could have just said she was so busy, and so she couldn’t attend church. It would have been so much better than saying that she joined the campus fellowship and had bible study to attend. She could not even remember the last time she went to church, prayed properly or read her bible. These were things she used to do so regularly it was like a second nature to her.
