The semester exams were commencing in less than six weeks.
Simon had been away for some time given that he had to get his s**t together.
He stepped into the lecture hall, and all of a sudden, everyone was so happy to see him which struck him as weird because two weeks back, they were pointing accusing fingers at him, and calling him chauvinistic, and every other terrible word in the dictionary.
He knew he was an asshole, but it hadn't gotten to that level.
While he taught, students smiled and asked a million and one questions. He was cautious to only look at the front row, trying to avoid having eye-contact with a certain someone.
