Vylet had seen this coming. She knew him for his control stretched thin and his iota of temper. Nonetheless, it was a sensible demeanor when it came to her which sometimes pleased her and ticked her off. Yes, it was just sensible for a man who valued her safety above his life; for a man whose nuts about her. “Not to worry Blaze, I can handle myself.” Vylet shot back with a tinge of steely determination.
