As the summer sun began to set over Brooklyn, casting a warm golden glow over their loft, Emma and Jake sat at their dining table, papers and blueprints strewn across it. The air was electric with excitement and promise. This was a leap of faith, investing in a business venture that brought together both their passions, art and technology, off the back of their successful exhibition.
Okay, now, here is how it goes," Jake said excitedly as he pointed to the various sketches on the table. "We create a series of interactive art installations for public spaces-museums, parks, even corporate offices. We can make these things with augmented reality in ways that we could not have ever imagined with traditional art.
Emma leaned closer, her heart racing with the idea. "I love it! We can build experiences that would let people interact with the art more personally. It's not about viewing but about feeling and taking part."
"Exactly," echoed Jake, excitement contagious in his voice. "Imagine families on a park who take their phones out to view animations pop into life around them, kids learning about art through those very interactive displays.
Emma started racing her mind with possibilities: "We could also partner with schools! Art education is so important, and this would make it fun for them."
As each brainstorming idea was tossed between them, Emma felt her inspiration growing. This venture was not just a business; it was a way of releasing their vision into the world-a means of bringing people together using creativity.
They turned it into an ongoing reality over the coming weeks of frenetic effort: sleepless nights writing business plans, researching potential collaborations, and reaching out to local artists and technical developers who shared their vision.
One evening, while they sat together with their laptops, Emma turned to him, quite serious. "Jake, don't you think we should try applying for some grants or any funding opportunities? There are groups out there that put money behind innovative art projects."
Jake nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah-that's a good idea. We could also look into crowdfunding-get the community involved from the very start."
With that, they began to write grant proposals; in the meantime, they set up a crowdfunding page. They created a video of Emma's artwork intertwined with Jake's tech abilities and posted it everywhere on their social media platforms.
And then it blew up. Friends and family, plus random people, came out of the woodwork to support them-sharing their campaign everywhere. Within days, they had surpassed their initial goal in funding, which further fueled the fervor.
"This is incredible!" Emma exclaimed one morning as she checked their crowdfunding page. "People really believe in us!" thirsty;
Jake wrapped his arms around her from behind, planting a kiss on her temple. "We're just getting started. This is going to be huge!"
First, they raised their seed money and started looking for the ideal site for this pilot installation. They selected a park that regularly holds community events and is fairly well-known around town so would be a very good location to attract the families as well as the art lovers.
