Blaze POV:
As I sit beside Kyra, my mind races. She still hasn't woken up yet, and it's been an excruciatingly long hour and a half. My eyes switch between staring at her and the steady rise and fall of her chest, to staring at the heart monitor she is currently hooked up to. Dr. Bella has been coming in every ten minutes to check her vitals manually and ask if I need anything.
Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the test results to come in. I'm trying to be patient, I really am, but I'm not going to lie...I'm struggling. I don't want to lose control like I did earlier. That was something different altogether. My wolf had taken over. He had fully taken over, but I didn't shift. It was an odd feeling, to say the least, and one I can honestly say I didn't like.
