Chapter 23From offshore, the power plant glowed ominously. Across the western face of the Turbine Building, the twenty-four uniformly spaced vertical windows radiated like roman candles. But from a distance of ten miles, Grace's silhouette in the window could not be seen, nor the windows themselves. In fact, the entire power plant appeared only as a pale glow in the darkness to Ramzan and Emil.
“That is it?” Ramzan asked.
“Yes, that is it,” Emil said, pointing to the light. “That light it is the power plant.”
Emil checked the Garmin screen and confirmed. The positioning and distance to their longitude and latitude was undeniable. Then he checked his watch and backed off on the throttle.
“What are you doing” Ramzan asked.
“We're early,” he said.
