Chapter 20Cameron stared at the No Trespassing sign in front of the Bone Yard through the driver side window of Mobile One. The starlight barely revealed the Great Seal of California in the lower right corner. In the other corner was another emblem representing CEQA—California Environmental Quality Act—the agency responsible for the preservation and conservation of cultural and historical sites in California.
Where Cameron had parked, there at the road's end on top of a small rise above the field, there was a commanding view of the terrace and ocean beyond.
