Chapter 7The Briefing Room was alive with activity, as was always the case during shift change. Though many officers had already taken post, there was still several awaiting dispatch. At the coffee pot was Pryce Johnson, a seasoned foot patrol officer assigned to Patrol Two tonight, the northwest quadrant of the power plant; Carl Harrington who drew the Patrol Three slot, which covered the northeast quadrant; and Grant, an off-going officer from the swing shift.
