I felt my head was heavy. My body was feeling numbed and couldn’t move. I groaned and turned to the other side of the bed. I felt that I was covered with the duvet properly, just as someone wrapped me like a baby. I searched for my mobile while still closing my eyes and then I found it near my pillow. I gently opened one eye and checked the time. It was 10.00 a.m.
My eyes widened with the time on the phone, I never slept until 10.00 a.m. and it was Monday. My shift begins at 11.00 a.m.
