Red Lake Pack was small, but organized. Their training routines were extraordinary and their warriors were lethal. I had been pinned so many times, I was about ready to leave with tail between my legs, but it seemed Petro had other ideas. Unlike me, he was not okay with losing and he was extremely adamant about staying and training until we were either just as good or better than the warriors there. I kept telling myself I would leave in the morning yet found myself not wanting to leave. I think part of me had grown tired of my loneliness.
